On a plate prepare the strawberries by inserting into the end if each one a cocktail stick.
Break up the chocolate into pieces into a bowl (a small one is easier as you need some depth to the chocolate to dip the strawberries)
Microwave the chocolate in 30 second bursts, stirring after each 30 seconds to help melt the chocolate smoothly. Don't over melt otherwise the chocolate becomes grainy so be careful when the chocolate is nearly fully melted.
Holding each strawberry by its cocktail stick dip the strawberry into the melted chocolates and twirl the cocktail stick so that there is an even coverage of chocolate around the strawberry
Once the strawberry is fully covered by chocolate insert the cocktail stick into the polystyrene and allow the chocolate to drip off and harden. This will take about an hour.
Transfer to fridge until ready to serve. I like to dunk the chocolate strawberry into a bowl of double cream. Delicious!
